Eleanor C. Dragich

Eleanor C. Dragich, 33, formerly an Ann Arbor resident for ten years, died yesterday afternoon after a short illness. Her home was at 44646 Express Highway near Belleville.

Born on Oct. 22, 1913, in Detroit, Mrs. Dragich was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bargowski. She was a 1937 graduate of St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital and had lived in Ann Arbor until moving to Belleville in 1941. She was married to George Dragich in 1939 in New Boston.

Mrs. Dragich is survived by her husband; two children, Mareanna and Jolene; her parents who live in Belleville; four brothers, George of Wyandotte, John and Edward of Detroit, and David, with the United States Army in Germany; and a sister, Mrs. Rose Pizarek of Belleville.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Thomas church with Msgr. Warren Peek officiating. The rosary will be said at 8:30 Friday evening at Staffan-Hildinger Funeral Home and burial will be in St. Thomas cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
