MILAN—Stephen Slamka, 72, was found dead of a heart attack at his home on Anderson St. here Saturday afternoon.
Born in Czechoslovakia Aug. 20, 1873, he came to the United States in 1904 and lived in Detroit for a short time before coming to Milan. According to papers found at his home, he is survived by a wife, Katie, who lives in Czechoslovakia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday, at the Stevens-Bush funeral home in Milan. Rev. William A. Johnson will officiate. Mr. Slamka will be buried at Marble Park cemetery.
