A golden wedding anniversary will be celebrated Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. Luther Nicholson, 501 Detroit St. Their grandchildren here or near Ann Arbor will join in arranging a family dinner early Sunday afternoon at their home, and open house will be held in the evening. The party precedes the anniversary date, which is March 20.
Mr. and Mrs. Nicholson have resided here most of their married life. One of their grandsons, Pfc. MacDonald Bovee, is serving in the Army Quartermaster Corps somewhere in the Pacific area, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Glenn E. Davis of Adrian, will not be here.
The members of the family who are to be present for the celebration are two grandsons, Orval Nicholson of Stone School Rd. and Calvin Bovee of Tecumseh, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Philip Kunzelman, 513 Monroe St. The honored couple has also three great-grandchildren, Lois Jean and Orval J. Nicholson, jr., and Glenn E. Davis, jr., of Adrian.

Mr. and Mrs. Luther Nicholson of Detroit St., whose 50th wedding anniversary is Monday, March 20, will have in the family party at their home Sunday two of their great-grandchildren, Orval J. Nicholson, jr., and Lois Jean Nicholson, of Stone School Rd., shown with them above.
