Mrs. Mamie Jackaway

MILAN—Mrs. Mamie Jackaway, 38, died at her home on Anderson St. here Saturday night. Born in Wayland, Mich., June 18, 1907, she married George E. Jackaway May 22, 1929, at St. Johns, Mich., where the family lived until moving to Milan three years ago. For the past two years Mrs. Jackaway had been employed at Hale’s Restaurant.

She is survived by her husband, one son by a previous marriage, Harry Dice, now a marine in China, and a daughter, Mrs. Viola Jean Adams of Milan.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 o’clock at the Stevens-Bush funeral home in Milan. Rev. T. C. Fletcher, pastor of the Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will be at Marble Park cemetery.
