The Elections

We cannot yet teil rauch about the reeults. The Democrrta claim to havo carried Delaware by a small rmjority. It was a Whig State n 1840. T!ie Whige say the State has gone Whig. Who can teil unless 'they know? Maryiand has gone Whig - Governor, and both branches of the Legislatura: so the Whigs say. The Whigs claim ülno by a considerable mojority for Governor. All the returns are not yet in. Next week we 6hal! be able to present definite returns from these States.
