The County Fair

-Tuesday, neiday, and Thursday, the 9th, lOth, and llth days o. October next have been selected as the days on whioh to hold the next annual Fair of the Washtenaw County Agricultural and Horticultural Socieiy, on Ih6 grovmds of the Society in thia City. The ofEoers of the Society have resolved to xtendtho the horse track on the grounds to half mile, and hav appropriated for that purpoe $200 on condition that the balance noeeisary i raised by subscription. The track ia now one-third of a mile. L3C The ninth annual meeting of the Michigan State Teachers' Association is to b held at our neighboring city of Ypsilanti, beginning on Tuesday evening, Aug. 21t. The opening address is to be deliverod by the ReT. "Wm. Hosaktii, of Detroit ; and during the cisión which will continue until Friday evening, addresses will be delivered by Profil elch, of the Normal School ; Rev. Thomas Hill, of Antioch College ; Prof. A. D. White, of the University of Michigan ; Rev. Prof. Boyd, of Monroe, and others. Reporta and papers will be read by prominent gentlemen and ladies connected with many of the educa tional institutions in the State.
