Was Drug Chemist For Many Years
Ezra J. Ware, 88, a research chemist for Parke, Davis & Co. for many years, died yesterday in a local hospital.
Mr. Ware had been living at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Theophil Hildebrandt, here for the past six years.
He was born May 10, 1862, at Butlerville, Ind. and lived most of his boyhood in Grand Rapids. He was graduated from the University of Michigan in 1886.
He married Lizzie Hayden of Tecumseh. She died in 1937.
Mr. Ware worked as a chemist for Parke, Davis in Detroit and Kansas City.
Surviving, besides his daughter, Mrs. Hildebrandt, are one son, Robert Hayden Ware of Kansas City and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services have not yet been arranged.
