Washington, Sun,.ay, July 22. Joseph Gales, of the National Tntclligcnccr, died last night, in the 75th ?ear of his age. Ho was, during twohirds of his life, connocted with that istablishrnont. For eeveral years past ie has been very infirm, but continued lis usual visits to that office until (owards the end of the last week, having deservedly been held in the highest eseam by all classes of the comrnunity. iis dexease occasions the deopest sorrow.
