the Missuui República, writing on July 15, says-: "A meeting to talce into consideration tho propriety of calling, without deluy, a convontion for the purpose of forming a Stato constitution, and to app'y for admission into the Union at the nexi session of Con gt'ess, (üia been oalled, and will take place in tlie legislativo hall in this city, on Monduy, tho I6th inat. A verr large attendance, consisting of the principal men of both poltical parties here, is expected, and it seems that the people all over the Territory are in favor of tha moveinent."
