St. Loma, Sundny, Fob. 8. A coiivenüon of tlio Representativos of tha Oonslitutional Union and Democratio parties asseinbled yesterday at the Mercan tile Librurv Hall for the purpose of nominating a ticket for a State conveotioo, and agree upon such a platform as would tnostlikely meet witli the support oí tho oational con servative voters of the eouitfry. The consultationa between the two parlius were. frrendly and harmonious, and :ill party distinctions were sut aside. The platform which vas adoptad, unanimously reiteratea the resolutions passed at the great Union meeting January 12th, expressing devoti,oo to the Union, and strongly opposing the secession of Uissburi, and insisting that the action of the Cunvention bo submitted to the people. Tho íbllowing gentlemen were nominated on tho Constitutional ticket : John D. Coalter, D. A. Janering, ileury S. Tower, Öeo. Pehn, Loui? V. Bogy, Jolm W. Willis, P. B. Garesobe, Luthor W. Kennett, Ilamilton JÏ. Gable, Albert Todd, Wm. T. Wood, N. J. Easton, Ariel Wright, Henry Overetatz, and Chas. S. Olarkson.
