-The Austin correspondent oí the Ualveston News, uuder date of the 21st, writes: "While I am writing, Gen. Houston has just delivered a speech by the sido of the Baptist Church. He commenced at half past 11, and continued, as I learn, till half past 1, making two hours, and was then followed by Jack Hamilton, who is now speaking at 2, P. M. A gentleman just now informs me that Gen. Houston's speech is denunciatory of the Convention from beginning to end. He predicts that Jeff. Davis will eract iu the South the coup Vetat of Louis Napoleon in France."
