Departcui; i-iio.M New Yokk o Scnday. - Therè left New York on Sunday the following steamers with troops, to wit: the Baltic, with the 12th Regiment, 1,190 men, and "200 of the 6th ; the B. R. Cuyler, with tho 7lst Regiment, 945 mu;i ; the Colurnbia, with the 6th Regiment, 650 men ; the Coatzacoalcos, with the Bh ode Island Regiment, 1,000 men ; and the Ariel, with the Maseachusette Regiment, 1000 men, and tho Boston Company of Flying ArtiU lery, fully equipped, 90 horses and G field pieces - in all, 4,085 mon. The destiuation ot this foreo is not made public On Tuesday. tho 8th and 69th Regimenté oi New York, with the 13th and 28th of Brooklyn, were to ieave. Tho regiment of Rhode Islanders, which sailed in the Coatz-.icoaleos, embraces all ranks and conditions of societv. The largo proportion are mecbanics and tradesmen. Among thein aro some of the wenlthiest men in the State; sorno who are in the ranks are said to be woi'th half a milüon of dollars, and others being possessed of princely fortunes. Fivo thousand men offered their services to the cause in Rhode Island, from whom tho present regiment has been made up. Gov. Spragoe purchused 90 horses for the regiment, aud thu ladiea of Rhode Island presented thom Burnside's rifles, and gave every sixth man a Colt's rovolver. Col. BurcBide, late of the TJ. S. A., and now the commander of tho regiment, rosigned a lucrative po.st is Troasurer oí the Illinois Central Railroacl to take cominand of the troops. Gov. Spraguo wilt take tho chief command of the entire Rhodo Island force, as soon as it is concentrated.
