There aro twenty-eigbt eompamefl tbat have thus far volunteered tbeir services for tho war, of which but tive have as yet i'ully complied with il. o turms of tbe cali and filed their muiter rollswith the Adjutant Genera!. These ara the Detroit Light Guard. Seott Guards, Michigan Hussars, and Sherock Guarda, oi Detroit, and the Coldwater. Oadets, of Coldwater. Information that is being daily received by the Adjutant General leaves no doubt that the eompanies from the interior will be soon ready. The fort below tho city is being rapidly placed iu a state oi readiness ncss to serve as a rendezvous for these troops. The rubbish is being cleared out, and such repairs as are necessary made. It will bê ready for occupancy by Thuisday. Contracta havo been closed with citizens óf Detroit íorsupplying two reginients of troops with shoes, n.iuers' tlannel shirts, drawers, and stockings. These will be ready for delivery by the first of next week. Material lor bed-satks forone regiment has also been purchased, and is now in ip the hands of infl iential patriotic ladies, who will give it out to deserving poor vvomen for manufacture. These sacks will be ready, it is oxpected, by Saturday night. The military committee having theso matters in charge have been vcry industrious, and deserve credit for the prompt iflanner in which they havo pushod forward all these arrangements.
