Gregory: - You and each of you are hereby notified that he Common Coancil of the City of Ann Arbor has ordored the side walk on the Kort h side of Miller Avenue street from Spring street !o the wesï Bide of City limita to be graded and planked ; êüeh side walk to be constnicted four feet wide, and of pine plank two inches ihick, spiked to sleepers of oak, and to be buill under the superintcndenceof the Street Commissiouer and Supervisor of the second district of s.iid city, and thnt you are about to be assessed to defray the expenses of grading and plmiking such side walk in front of or adjaceiit to certain premisos in said city, owucd or occupied by you, respect i vely, and tuut a report and assessment roll lias been made out in tbc premisos, and is on file in this ofiiee for inspeclion; and that the Conmion Council of said city will meet at the Fireraen's Hall in said city, on the First day of July, next, at even o'cloct, P. M.to review such assessment roll on the request of any person cünsidei-ini; himself ag grieved iliereby: and you are lurther notified that the party is allo'wed ihirty days frora thstime of the service of this notice upon him, witliin which to rnake such grading and sido walk under the superintendente of the Street Couimiesioner and Supervisor of the Öecond district of said City, and that if sueh eidewalk shall within thut time have been so constructed to the satistaotion of such superintendents no expense of proceeding to collect such assessnient shall be incurre.l by the pt-rsons eo construoting the same.
