porKlent says that the ïndelatigablo mountainoers in the service of Wra. H. Russell, headed by the celebrated Biidger, who have been for more than a year aearching for a pass whieh would be available for a wagon roed to California, have at length reported one, not fnr from Denver City, whieh wiil shorten the route some two or three hundred miles, and vrhiob by tunneiing six hundred yards, can be made suitable for a railroad, the gradö in no in stanco exceeding inany on the line of the Baltimore and Ohio. Mr. Russell in concentrating hia forcea at Denver City, preparatory to building the wagon rond, and by spring he cxpects tt run his stages ovor tliis nevt route.
