In this city, on the evening of the Ü2d inst., ;t the residence of Wm. M. Holloway, 'Wm, Van Fossen, Jr , of Consumption, in lhe 31st year of bis ugo.. Mr. Van Fossen was bom in tho town of Ann Arbor, ilictiiean, in 1830. He was, for many years a resident of Lafayette, Indiana. He came to California in the spring of 1852, where ho resided until his death. In this City, on Friday, June 23 h Caroline Broome. relict of Major Noon, and last surviving child jf Hon. John Broome, deceased, of New York City.
