The following list of the killed, wounded and severed of the First Regiment is taken from the telegraphic dispatches tbathavc been reccived up to the date of writing : Col. O. Bv Willoos, wounded and takn prisoncr by the cneniy. Captain Wm. Withington, Jackson Greys, Coinpany B, killed. Captain Ébenezer Buttcrwortb, Coldwatcv Cadcts, Coinpany C, killed Lieutenant Bernard Mauch, Mieliigan Hussars, Detroit, Coinpany F, killed. Lieutenant J. M. Casey, Burr Oak Guard, Company G, killed. Orderlv Sergeant Lewis Hartmeyer, Detroit Liglit Guard, Coinpany A, killed. Privates Richard Jones, Detroit Light Guard Company A, and James Kelly, Michigan Hussars, Company F, killed. Privates Cunninghani, of Company A, and John Stafford, tturr Oak Guard, Company G, wounded. Among the number kr.own to be safe are Captain Roberts and Lieutenant J. P. Hanger of Company F, Sergeant IIolloway, Corporal Williani Huil, and pri7 vates Osmond Cogswcll, John Tyler, and John Williams, of Coinpany A, Detroit Light Guard. In addition to the abovc, are mentioned as killed, one S. Warner, a Lieutenant, and Ilorace Kingman, a private. - We know of no sueh persons in the First and tbink they must have been from other reginients. Sinco tbe above was written, the fol lowing disjratch dated Washington, July B3d, and addressed to Dr. Kiefer of tnia city : " Lieutenant Mauch is wounded and probably dead. We could not take him off the field.
