The 'f roy Times says : We have secn ' a private letter frorn a perfectly reliable Bourco in Michigan - a eonsignor of wool to thisraarket - which states that Enrlish Agents are purchasing wool in various parta of that State, and they want 15,000,000 lbs in all. English agents chased nearly all the Canadian clip last year; but this is tbc first instance, we believe, of purchase on Euglish account, in the States. The effect of this will probably bc to inciense the price of wool hero, as our entire stock in the abgeuco of inportations, cannot bc sufficient to supply the homo dematid.
