McCullocli, in wbiob 8 of tho formcr wèfe killed and 30 wounded, and 40 of the latter killed and 44 woitnded Gen. Lyon took 80 stand of arins, and 15 horses and wagODS. 270 United States cavalry made a charge upon a body of rebel infantry, said to have been four thousnr.d stronir, and cut tlioir way throogfa them and returncd with a loss of live men. The charge was most. gallant and terrible, several of the rebels being found with théir heads eioven entircly through. - The euemy rctired during the night, and Gen.
