Morrel!; he Sixth is it üaltimore; the Seven'h, under Gen. Lander, is thirtv-five mih-s lbove here. on the river; the Eighth a htü! at Meridinn Hill, but is just ordered to Gen. Sherrnan's división, wiih ivo Pt-nnsylvaoia regirnents, the Brigaüer General has not yet been arnouneed ; Rtockton's Kegiment is )iij:ided with twn Pennsylvania reginents opposite Georgetown - his provisional ïirig idiership vva lost by the igher rank of a Pennsylvania Ooíonel Brodhend's Cavalry ia at Kalarama. Qen, Williartih, I hear, is ordered to eport to Gun. Banks. Hih brigade is not yet gazetted. II; leaves to morron1 rnorning.
