Tnlelligencer says that, notwitli.standing the depression in business, land warranta ander the act of 1855, omounting to upwards of 2,000,000 acres, have been loc:i!cd during the year ending June 30. 'l'hc balance reuiaining out is very small. The Government now owns 00,000,000 acres, wbicli havo been surveyed and offered for sale, and rcady for private entry. Bcsidcs, th3, nearly 40,000,000 acres have been surveyed, but not put in market, which n;ay bc taken up by preemptors. This is exclusive of the immense tracts of land whieh have not been surveyed in the now Territories of Dncotah, Colorado and Nevada.
