New York. March 12. An Elizabeth City, N. C, letter dated Mareh 4th, to the Tribune, says : "General Bragg with liis forces, numbering gixteen thousaud, arrived at Norfolk yestai'day from Pensacola, whioh place ixe evaouated after destroying tho fortifietins, guna, &c. It is also said, the rebols are calling all their spare farees into Norfolk that they may be ready for any emargency. Tlie foroa at Newbeni and other places in this State, numbering '20,000 or ,'50,000 drilled soldiers, together with the rebel forces at liiclunond and at other points bötuoöu Iticlimond and Norfolk, will, it ia thought, be thrown iu tho rear of the Union foroa attaokipg Norfolk from this direetion, thereforo the last grand battle of the campaign may bo t'ongbt in this gtmggle to save Norfolk, lioTilJ that city be ittoeked."
