Jiesides, it ia ordered by our ciiif-enp, from one ic10 was once our citizen, and is to be depositad in the University, as a tribute to bis talent and a mark of fiiendlv nppreciation both of his art and art-triuinph. Our citizens hace already responded cheerfully to the cali oí the Hogers' Art Association, let them continue their liberality and Ann Arbor wil! soon possess the only life-sized Marble Statue in Michigan, and one not excelled by any in America. - Nydia has arrived at Detroit and will be exliibited in that city fcr some weeks, after whieh our beauty-loving citizens will be tendered an introduction.
