- -An anlislavery meeting was ueld at Wilraington, Del., recently, at which resolutions strongly condemnatory of elavery were pa&sed. lts wickedness, and the duty and policy of immediate emancipation, were pomted out, in the most emphatic language. Among those present at the meeting were Charles C. Burleig-h and Lucretia Mott, both vvell known and distinguished abolitionists, alike remarkable for thelr talents and their zeal in behalf of abolitionism. It was stated, in course of the meeting, that tbe number of slaves in Üelaware is about SOoO, and that three-fourths of the people were ready to sign petitions for immediate emancipation,with moderate compensation. Let them go anead, and we shall soon have another of the "old thirteen" íd the ranks of freedom .- Concord Frecman.
