A Good Example

-The Connecticut Senate, now eitting in New Haven has authorized the creation of two new hoüdays in that State. June 14th, memorable as the natal day of the Star Spangled Banner in the year 1777, by a resolve of the Continental Con gress ; and September I7th, the anniversary of the signing of the Constitution. Hereafter, in tbat State, the National holidays and aniversarios will be, Flag Day, Independenee Day, and Constitution Day, marking the three most important eventi in our history as a people.
