The Rogers' Art Asaociation met at the office of tho Secrelary, June 27ih, 1862, at 9 o'clock, A. M., E. W. Morjan, President, in the chair. Mr. JIillbn presented and read a letter f rom Wh. Dowd, Esq., of New York, which letter was accompanied by the following sobscription paper, and a check lor 8200 : " The undersisned being dasirous of testifying praetieally their approbation of the objects of the Rogers' Art Association of Ann Arbor, Micli., agree to pay the sums set opposite their ñames, toward a fund for the purchase of copies of the works of Randolph Rogers, to be placed in the Museum of the University of the State of Michigan. "New York, June, 18G2. '(Signed) "Dowtl, Baker & Whitfleld, Buokley, Slieldon & Co., Sackett, Belcher & Co., Lawrence, Orijrs &, Kingsbury, Edgerton, lloréis &. Hatch, Claflen, Mellen & Co., John Steward, D. Jackson Steward." Each firm donated 825. The Communications were accepted nd ordered placed on file, when the following resolutioo was adoptcd on motion of Prof. Frieze: Retolvcd, That the thanVs of the Rogers' Art Assoc.iation are hereby tendered to the several gentlemen whose names are nttaehed to the above subscnption, and that they severally bo elected Honorary merabers of this Association. A communication was also received from Hon. J. V. Campbell, oí Detroit, occompanied with a check ior $98 59, net proceed8 of the exhibition of Nydia. Communication accepted and placed on file, and the following resolution adopted: Resolved, That the thanks of this Association are dae to Ilon. J. V. Campbell, of Detroit, to Samuel R. Mumford, Esq., Librarían oí the Detroit Young Men's Society; to the President and officers of the Society, for the free use of their Hall and Kooms for the Exhibition oí Nydia ; to those ladies and gentlemen vvho furnished the excellent musio at the opening exhibilioD ; and to D. B Duffiekl, Esq., for his appropriate address od the saroe occasion. Messrs. Campbell, Mumford and Duf 5eld wero also elected ITonorary Members of the Asgociation, The following rasolution was also tdopted: Resohud, That the thanks ot this Associntion are londered to R. N. Rice, Esq., Supt. of the M. C. R. R., for btt lourtesy and gonerosity in giving Nydia aj'ree pats from Detroit to Ann Arbor. Mr. R. was nlso voted aa Honorary ■nember of the Asaociation. Acliourned.
