Gen. WiLLCox, or what sounds more natura], Col. Orlando 13. Wii.lcox, of tbe oíd Michigan First, takeu prisoner by the rebels at the battle of Buil Run, on tbe 21st day of July, 1861, and rooently relcased from bis long and closo confinemeut, arrived at bis botne in Detroit, at 2 o'elock, P. M. on Wednesday, and met an enthusiastic reception from bis fellow citizens. It was a gala day for Detroit, and thousands frora the interior participated in the welcoming festivities. The procession was largo and imposing, the welcoming speech happy and well timed, and the response fecliug and eloquent. lllness prevented us from bcing present, and we have no space in this issue for dotails from the city papers.
