As ever, Washtenaw couuty contributed ber full quota to the State Fair, as well in visitors as in stock, horses, and other articles for exíiibition. The fullowiDg premiums wcre awarded to citïens of our county : D. M. Uhl, buil, 6 years old, 2d pr. $10 " " " cow, 4 " " 2d pr. 8 " " " heifer,2 " " lat pr. 10 " " " " 1' " " lst pr. 8 B. Green, single carriage horse, 4 years old, lst pr. 8 S. A. Sperry, twohorse family carriage, lst pr. 5 This list is by no means as large as usual, owing to no falling off of material to take premiums, but to the fact that farmers and others could not spare the time necessary to exhibit their stock, produce, &c.
