Lieut. G W, Coqk, of Co. A, 16th Michigan Infantry, tho pompany in which our brother was Sergeant, writes to bis wife ncar tbis oity, that a member of tbe regiment who was wounded and taken prisoner at that battb, and who ha just retumed tQ his post, says that when the rebels were reruoving bim frora the field he saw our brothcr lying dead.
