The energy of the quartermastera and commissaries has placed the army 'm .such a oondition that no want can bó antioipated for some time to come, 'f he hardncss of the roads aud increased facilities on thfi railroads have enabled the quartennaster"s department to bring forward from tho shipping points a large amount of supplies abovc the diiüy consumption. Should the army b.e put in motion at any hour, these departineuta wiil be found in excellent condition. A large number of offiuers are dailv arriving f rom furlougiis aud assumiug their active duties in camp. There bas been a consideroble changc of position of the several army corps within the pa8t few days, foroahadowing future movemonts of importance. It is stated to-day, by reliable observers, that the encmy haa 180 guns in position on the south side of the Rappahauuock, some of whicli are of heavy calibre.
