If so, what is his proper address? 8d. What is the iiüine of the Surgeou or Chaplaiu of the Ho.spitjl? ■Ith. If not io hospital at present, has he reeently been in hospital 'i 5th. If so, did ho die in hospital, aud at what date ? öth. If reeently discharged from hospital, was ho discharged from service ? 7th. If not, v, hatwere his orders on loaving ? The Commission is prepared also to furuish moro f pecilio infornaatin ;ig to the ooudition of any patiënt in the Distriot hospitals, withiu tweuty four bours after a reijuest to do so, from an officer of any oí its correspor.ding societics. The office of the Directory will be open daily from 8 o'clock a. m. to 8 o'olock p. m., and aecessible in urgeut oases at aiiy hour of the niglit. The nuniber of patients in these hos pitáis is about 25,000.
