I only propone at present to indícate wht my own observalion and experience appear to teach, is a yaluable and efficiënt preventutive ot this disorder. It is sirnply üulphuric ether. It should be tnken lv ohaíation. A very littlu oí the remedy will answer the entire purpose. Jhe pulient nbould not maka ui ijpri'ach to etheriBtttion, but only aiply the nose to a bottle coutaining the liquid und make a lew inspirations. This must be done (in order to be completejy effectual) when the firsf symptoms of the coid manifest themselves.
