County Sabbath School Convention
Pdusuant to arrangement made ana under direction of a comniittce appointed by delegates from Washtenaw County, at State Convention held at Ann Arbor, in Oetoberlast, a County abbatli School Conveotion will be held n the Methodist Church, in the city of Ypsilanti, commencing Monday evening, December 29th, at seven o'clock, Monday evening will be devoted to an address by Uon J. M. GnEaoRY,and the orf anization of a County Association. On Tuesday forenoon a short Essay will be read by Prof. J. M. B: Sill, oa " Careless Sunday Teaching - its Guilt jiftd Eeraedy." And ulso an Essay by Iiev. Mr. Armstrono, of Saline, on '' The Great Object of Suuday School Instruction." On Tuseday afternoon an Essay by Eev. T. O. (JMüiNKü, on " ïhe Essentials of Succeesful Bible Class Instruction." And, by Prof. Charles K, Adams, ,on " The Best Library System." These essays are ljmited to fifteen minutes eacli, and are designed maitilj to throw out pnioticil suggestions pre■paratory to a general discussion by the Convention, wLioh will ollow eaoh essay. Tuesday evening will bo given to an ,Address and Discussion upon the ques1ion, '' What can be Done to Promote a (General and Efficiënt In-terest in Sab' bih Schools in Wnshtenaw -County ?"
