The following preamblo and resolutions ware adopted Jan. 12th,by tho Junior Class of the Law Department of the University of Michigan, on the death of David Judsom Woon, of Tocumseh, Jan. Gth 1863. Wood ; thereforo Uesolne.d, ïhat wuile we humbly snbmit to this aülicting decree of Divine I'rovidence, we deepiy mourn the untimely loas of a companion and classmatc, whose unassuming manners kindly deportnient and integrity of chiiraeterhas won frora us our sincere syinpathy and respect. Resohed. That in his death we as a class havo lost ona of our most devotetl members, and the profession an ardent and proinising disciple. Resolved, That we most respectfnlly and heartily tender to the faiuily and friends of the deceased our wanneit sympathy in this their afllictin and sudden borevement.
