As soon as Roach henrd of liis deBth, he lef't Od the Weduesday following the occurrence, offiers Nye and I'ottör baving heard that he was seen in Detioit Monday evfiiring, went 'o the city, and with the assistance of officers Starkweatlier and Sullivaii very sooo had liim in jail, and returaed to thi city with liim on Thursday, and oommitted htm to jail here to await his exuniiiatio:i, which we understaiid wil! bf held to day. We sce ihe Dutcoit Tribune gets up quite a sensatinn report of tho matter, and gives the credit whully to the Detroit officers We do not wish to rob thciu of any of their lionors for we know thiy aro ever ready and willing to affbPd our offiofira all tho assistance in thoir power.
