Stoneman's Station, Va., April 25. A special to the Times says : " Ou Thursday moruing an expedition, consisting of two regiiuents, the Fourth Brooklyn and Niueteeuth Indiana, uuder Coloncl Morrow, of the Tweuty-fourth Michigan, reached Fort Conway, and at daylight lauuched sevei'al poutoons, crossed the river, and siezed the town of Port Royal, whioh was oooupied by a body of the enemy's cavalry, uuinbering not over two hutidred. The cavalry was specdily dispersed, and twenty or more of theiu eaptured. A number of army wagons were eaptured and burned, aud several horses and mules were biought away. Our forcos rield the town au hour or more. A heavy body of the enemy's infiiutry, with artillery, appeared, and our men safely retired to this side of the river, and on Thursday night worc agaiu back in camp, without loss."
