-A correspondent ol tne IN. Y. Herald states that Stuart's cavalry recently made a raid on Emmetsburg, and captured about one hundrod prisoners, among vvhom were the following Michigan surgcons: Dr. Wooster, Surgeon First Mioh. Cavalry, and Brigade Surgeon on General Coster's st:iff; Dr. Smith, Assistant Surgeon Fifth Michigan Cavalry ; Dr Stone, Surgeon Fifth Mich. Cavalry; Dr Morris, Assistant Surgeon Fifth Michigan Cavalry; Dr. Spaulding, Surgeon Sixth Michigan Cavalry ; Dr. .Richards, Surgeon 7th Michigan Cavalry, Hospital Steward Sterling, First Michigan, and also a numbor of attaches to"the Medical Department. Thoy desired to parole the surgeons, who refused to accept it, by Dr Wooater's advice, and they were subsequently rcleased, otofng to the robels being obliged to leavoin haste. The rebels captured fifty horsen prineipally from citizens, a'l the private property of the officera, the eurgical nstruinent and medical supplies.
