Washington, Ju!y 12. An accident occurred very early this morning on the Washington branch of the Baltimore and Ohio ltailroad about four miles this side of Annapolis Junction. One of the trains stopped on the main track for water, but this fact did not become known to the engineer of the seeond train, both from this city, in time to prevent it from running into the former. The crash was terrible. Of the passengers, principally troops, thirty or forty, includiDg sixteen officers, were wounded, somo of thom severoly, if not noortally. The sufferers were brought Dack to Washington.
