Th following extract from a letter written by Corporal Wm. L. Sankey describes the recent invention by a European, of the rifled musket shell, whieh was duuhtless furnished the rebels by gome " neutral " mercliant vessel : " During the skinnish at Manabas Gap the rebels used 3 great manv of those rifle musket sbells.
