His capture of Gen. Stoughton, in Muroh last, at Fairfax Couvt House, was characteristic of the man. Cortainly peaplo hardly knew whethcr to bo angry or laugh most at tbe cool audacity of the exploit. Ho wos a man of medium hciglit, and not disagreeablc appearauce( and waa thirty two years old.
