H. Thomas' oorpmision ia duted April 25, 1862 ; Major General Elooker's, May 5, 1802 ; and Major General Sherrnan's we think, in November, 1862. It is evident that Hooker's or Sherman's rank were not elemeuts whieh afteotüd General Eosecrans.
