He is vighl in his position that great and valuable reTorms can only be carried by bringing them directly beforo the mass of t))e peoplc. Let us allmember thcrt just so faï as we look for brgh and honorable men to actaspioneers in our cause, we shall be disappointed. - nstead of searching the newspapers to see whelherthisor that great man is comng over lo us, let us keep diligently at work in laboring to convert the carpeners, blacksaiiths. farmers and day-laborers by whom we are surrounded. With heir aid and co-operation, we shall succecd: without tiicm, never.
