Pursuant to a cali of the Common Council, a meeting of the qualified electors of this city was held at the Court House, on Saturday eveniög last, to vote an appropriation to pay bounties under the last cali of the President. Mayor Wells presided, and J. H. Bueleson ,vs elected Sccretary. It was resolved to raise by tax, to bo collected nest Fall, the suin of 3ü,300 to pay bounties to Tolnnteers tti (ill om' quota nnder the cali of Feb. lst, and a)so to raise (Q,6M, to be collected at the same time, to pay arrearges undei; the previon.s cali.
