A committee of onefrom each Stato was appointüd upon nationnl organization ; after which the appoiatmetit of a eommittee od resolutions created considerablo heated debate. A oonnnittee of five' on the state of the naüon was al.-so named, which reported a series, condeninir'g the rebellion, supporting the administration, and dcflnrinaf in favor of ili re-election of Mr. Lincoln.
