Fourih - A!l who left seats in the Congress of tho' Uuited Siatea to aid tho rebelíiOD. Fiíth - All who resigned or teodered resignatioud of their coinmissious in tha ! army or navy oí the Uuited States to i evado duty m thu rebellion. S xth - AH who have engaged in any wa-j' in treatmg otherwisa than lawlully as piiso;iers of war persons found iu the Uuited íiíates service, as officers, soldiarí, or eefrrnen, or in other capacities. Seventh - All persons who have been or are absentóos from the United S'ates lor the purpose of ttiding the rebeliion. Iiigl.th - All military and naval officers in the rebel service whü were eduoated by the govertimerit in the Military Aisademy at West Poirit, or the United States Naval Acudemy. Ninth - All persons who held the pretended offices of Governor of Siates in insurrection agaiost the United States. Tenth - All persons who left their homes within the jurtsdiction and protec-tiou of tho Uuited States and passed beyond the Federal military lines into the so (alled Confedérate States for the purpose of aiding the rebellion. Kltve h - Ail persons who have been eng ged in destruction of the commeroe oí (he Uuited States upon the high soas, and !1 perrons who have made raida into the Uuited States froru Canada, or been engaged in destroying the cominerce of the United Siates upon tho lak'i's and waters that separate the B;itish Provincea from the Ur.ited State-!. ïvvelfth - All persons, who, at the thrie when they seek to obtain the benefits hereof. by taking the oath hereiu prescribid, are iu mi itary naval, or oh il coufiu'jmenl or custody, or under hond of the civil, military or naval authorities, or agente of the fJnited Siates as prisoiiers of war, or persona detaiued fo;-' erfences of' any kind, either before or af'ter couv;etii)ii.
