The last bulletin fiora Ancona gives sixty-four cases of cholera and liftyeight deaths from the 14th to noon on the 15th uit., and the total since the diseasefirst appeared as 1,899 cases and 843 deaths. ïhero was cholera ia San Severo (Capitauita), ospecially among the poorly fed lower classes, and people are rnnnirj awuy. At Bologna, up to the 15th, the sanitary state of the population was satisfactory. There is no account of cholera having nhown ïtself in the other Italian cities. A letter from Figueras, in Caladonia, says that the town ia orowded with f'ugitives from Barcelonn, where there was at that date (1.5Hi uit.) a perfect jinnic on account of the appearauce of some cases of cholera. In one day 1(3,000 railway tickets had beea ssued at tlie Barcelona station. Nevertlioless, there seems to 1 have been very few cases; on the llth ■ and 12th a few cases of sporadio cholera (every surarner these oceur at Barcelona), which happened to curry off well i known perrons, and this raado a gro .t effeot on people. A violent storm j on the night of the 12th freshenod the air, and ou the 13th there was uo case. Means have been obtained from England tu build a railmad from St. Paul, Minn., to Winona, The work will be commeticed immodiately, Biid comple ted in th ree years. Ten miles will be graded this Fall.
