Mild as the glances of angel oyes, Soft as the kisses of first born love, Down througli tlic baze of these Antumn skies Comes the glad sunshine frora realmsübove. Beautiful pictures it sketcheth now, Touehed with the glowing hues of old, Painiing the valley and mounlain's brow Over with purpie and red and gold. Whispers of beauty the spirit filis, Taks of a land tbat fadeth never, Sunshine tbat gildeth the brautiful hills, Just over the bank of a crystal river. Beautiful rest for the weary soul - Eavth had no beauty akin to thia - Anthems of gladness forever roll Over those halcyon plains of bliss. Down the steeps of life's western hill, Beautiful sunshine of hope and light, Every shadow and hope dispel, Lift my spirit from realms of night. Soft as the beams of the Autumn sun, Sweet as the death of the summer floirers, Gather my jewels one by ooe, Take ray soul to those fadeless bowevs.
