We wish in submilting tiio auimal report of the AVashtcnaw County Fire Insurance Company, to presentsome factsfor the consideration of the Farmers vho are and will be.iuterested in Mutual Insurance. This Oompany has been in active operation for ten years, and during that time it has never falled to meet all the losses promplly and has gained for itself u repatation for safety and stability vvliich ha? exceeded tlic expectation of its original founders. lts growth has been both liealtiiy and rapkl. lts BUCCesa is due to the Farmers wlio trasted it, who directed its management and sustained its credit. c wlth contidence assert that in siich bands the company will continue to prospcr, the assertions of Agents for Stock Companies to the contrary The cost to tasare pioperty for the last teu years has been one and four-teuths per cent. on the dollar, whlle in any Stock Company, at the lowest estimate, it would have cost three and one third percent.; yet gome charge that it is expeusive. Wlth a capital stock of nearly five millions, wlth a sinkiiig fund on hand, wlth animproved and safe method of insurance, can the Company expect the ruin and spcedy death whlch have been predictcd as its fate? AVe only ask farmers to investígate for theraselves, consult your own interests, act for yourselves, and the Interest8 of the Company are safe.
