A Convention of the Liberty Party of Elillsdale county was held on the fourth of July, agreeably to public notice, to ap)oint four delegntcs lo ihe Stnte convention at Marshal, on the 9rh of July. Nalhan Stevens was called lo the chuir, ind D. C. Fuller was appointed Secreary. James M. Ravmond, Samuel lliblet, Nathan Stevens and Wm. D. Moore, were duly appointod delégales to the State convention. Resolved, That thisconventton adjourn to meet on Wednesday the 8th day of Oct. next, at 10 o'clock A. M. to make the county nominations, and to hear addresses f rom Mr. Bibb, C. Gurney Ksq., and others on American slavery, ani to transact such other business as muy come before the convention.
