On Monday last a BUI was postcd, signed by a numbcr of prominent Demócrata and Republicana, calling a meeting to considcr the propriety of iiominating a ticket for City offleers without distincti.on of party. The meeting f.ts held SjLonday cvcniiig, the Oourt House being full, and the proccedlngs protracted and anmatc:!. Cil4.ui.es Tnirr, jEl (., was elected President, and CnA.nt.S9 H.
